Southern ladies beat Valley tonight 47-40 to claim the Sectional Championship.
Today Mr. Buckley's College Prep Biology II class dissected earthworms as part of their study of annelids. By following a prepared guide students were able to observe and analyze structures of the earthworms previously explored during class. Dissections engage students and provide hands-on learning
7th grade boys finished their season tonight by beating Ravenswood 44-36 to finish 3rd in their tournament.
Freshmen boys beat Fisher Catholic 26-25.

RACINE, OH- The Home National Bank and Darrell Norris & Son Greenhouses have joined forces to support two of Southern High School's spring sports teams.
During the 2023 season, the businesses pledged to donate $2 for every strikeout made by the baseball and softball teams.
The baseball team's pitchers had a total of 173 strikeouts, while the softball team's pitchers struck out 117 players.
The businesses presented two checks totaling $580 to the athletic teams before the boys' varsity basketball game on Friday, February 9, 2024.
