RACINE- Students at Southern High School are getting hands-on experience with crime scene investigation and evidence collection thanks to the forensics class taught by Mrs. Courtney Manuel. On Tuesday, October 3, 2023, the class was broken into four groups to set up different crime scenes. After they set up the crime scene, the groups switched places to try to solve each other's crime scenes using skills they learned in class. The students had fun using fake blood, realistic body parts and toy weapons.
The Tornadoes continue their winning streak with another win against River Valley. Both JV and Varsity won their matches!

4th Annual Jordan Hardwick Memorial COED Softball Tournament. . All proceeds go to annual scholarships at all our local school districts
Southern Local is scheduled for a 2 hour early dismissal for students for Monday 10/2/23. Volley For the Cure volleyball game is also tomorrow evening.
Another win for the 7th, 8th, JV, and Varsity Southern volleyball teams!
They played Federal Hocking. Varsity squad clinched at minimum a share of the TVC Hocking tonight.

Ohio Association of Student Leaders is hosting “Leadership at the Point” where Southern High School student council participated in leadership skills with other schools from around the state before spending the rest of the day enjoying the amusement park.
