The third grade had Market Day today! For weeks, they have been planning, creating ads, commercials, and products that they would sell to their peers! They each had a job that they did every day to earn money that they could use to buy these products! Some of the products created were things like slime, homemade stickers, confetti poppers, and even reindeer food! The kids had a great time and loved learning about the economics of owning a “store” and being a customer!

Southern Locals' kitchen staff made a great holiday dinner (ham, mashed potatoes and gravey, green beans, roll, and ice cream). They even received a little help serving.
FFA members delivered food baskets to 4 families in our area today. Thank you to our members for donating non perishable items, our chapter for donating the extra fruit and the The Local Butcher for the meat. Hopefully this will make the holidays a little bit easier for these families.
