The NHS members gathered at the Racine American Legion Hall to help prepare noodles for the upcoming dinner on Sunday. The students have enjoyed learning how to make the noodles and about keeping these traditions alive. Come out to see these members serving the next legion dinner and to try the noodles they made on Sunday, 12/7.

Results vs South Gallia JH Girls- won 34-8 7th boys- won 28-26 8th boys- won 33-14 Varsity girls won in OT vs Symmes Valley 48-47.

On Monday, December 8, between the JV and Varsity boys game versus Trimble, Southern Local will have an official presentation of the James R Adams Gymnasium and the Carl Wolfe Court. The JV game starts at 6 p.m.

Southern Ladies take the win tonight 61-57 vs the Ladies from River Valley.

Mark your Calendars!! The Southern High School Band is hosting a fundraiser and bake sale at the Pomeroy Wendy's this Saturday, December 6th from 11:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. All sales made at that Wendy's during the 4-hour time frame, will get 10% of the total sales donated to the band. We will even have donation buckets inside and out if you do not want to eat at Wendy's, but if you want to donate or get items from the bake sale instead, for the support of the organization. If you have any questions, please contact Autumn Porter for more information. Doing something good has never tasted better!

Rada fundraiser is back with the Southern High School Band! The start is November 24th to December 5th. This is our number one fundraiser for the band. With every sale made either online or in person catalog, we get 40% of those sales! 5th Grade had a great time on the campus of Ohio University listening to the symphony orchestra. They heard works by Holst, Offenbach, and Sondheim. They were some of the most behaved students there! Southern Local was well represented!
