NOTICE TO BIDDERS: SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY
The Southern Local Board of Education will accept sealed bids for the sale of surplus property, equipment, and items no longer needed for school purposes.

BID SUBMISSION DETAILS
Deadline: Sealed bids must be received no later than Friday, November 13, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Bids will be opened immediately following the deadline.
Location: Bids must be delivered to the Treasurer’s Office, located at 106 Broadway, Suite 1, Racine, Ohio 45771.
Submission Format: Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: "SEALED BID: SURPLUS PROPERTY (ITEM DESCRIPTION).
INSPECTION OF ITEMS
Items are being sold "AS-IS, WHERE-IS" with no warranties expressed or implied. Prospective bidders may inspect the items November 2, 2026 through November 6, 2026 between the hours of 8:00 a.m and 2:00 p.m. at 920 Elm Street, Racine, Ohio 45771. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Payment: The successful bidder(s) must make full payment via certified check, cashier's check, or money order payable to Southern Local Board of Education within 5 business days of bid award notification. Cash and personal checks will not be accepted.
Removal: All items must be removed from the school premises at the buyer’s expense within 7 business days of payment. The district will not provide loading assistance or shipping.
Reservation of Rights: The Southern Local Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process, and to award the bid in the best interest of the SchoolDistrict.
