Racine, Ohio May 4
Students and families filled the school with creativity, curiosity, and innovation during this year’s Math, Science, and Art Night at Southern Elementary School. The event showcased the hard work and talents of students from preschool through 12th grade through a wide variety of projects and interactive activities.
The gymnasium was transformed into a gallery of student achievement, featuring math, science, and art projects created by students across all grade levels. Families had the opportunity to explore the displays and celebrate the dedication and creativity of students throughout the district.
In the cafeteria, families participated together in hands-on math, science, and art stations designed to encourage problem-solving, creativity, and exploration. Students and parents enjoyed engaging activities that highlighted the importance of learning through collaboration and discovery.
One of the highlights of the evening was the science fair competition for students in grades 5–8. Each grade level recognized outstanding projects with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards. Students demonstrated impressive scientific thinking, research skills, and creativity through their presentations and experiments.
In addition, select top projects from grades 4–12 were chosen to be displayed at the district academic banquet, recognizing students for their exceptional work and academic achievement.
Math, Science, and Art Night was a tremendous success and served as a wonderful celebration of student learning, creativity, and innovation across the district.
