Valerie Manuel

Valerie is a kind and caring student who consistently demonstrates what it means to be a positive member of our school community. She is always willing to help her teachers and classmates, and she makes a genuine effort to include others so everyone feels welcome and valued. Valerie strives to follow the rules, takes responsibility for her actions, and treats classroom materials with care. Her thoughtful, responsible nature and commitment to doing what’s right make her a wonderful role model for others.

Ellie Lang

Ellie is an outstanding example of a STORM student who consistently shows kindness, respect, and responsibility. She comes to class prepared, stays focused, and always strives to make positive choices. Ellie is a supportive friend to her classmates and brings a joyful, uplifting presence to the classroom. Her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and wonderful sense of humor make her a true role model.

Jaxson Hensler

Jaxon consistently demonstrates STORM qualities through his preparedness, responsibility, and strong work ethic. He completes assignments on time, shows respect to others, and is always willing to help anyone in need. His positive attitude and dedication make him a great role model and a valued member of our school.

Grace Smarr

Grace Smarr consistently demonstrates excellence in both academics and character. She is a hardworking, creative student who puts thoughtful effort into all she does, producing high-quality work that reflects a strong commitment to learning. Grace treats others with kindness and respect and maintains excellent behavior each day. Her dedication, positive attitude, and leadership make her a valued member of our school community and a wonderful role model for others.

Landon Jones

Landon has consistently earned high grades throughout the school year, demonstrating a strong and commendable work ethic in both the classroom and his school work responsibilities. He takes great pride in the quality of his work, approaches each task with diligence, and maintains a consistently positive attitude. Landon’s commitment to doing his best reflects a high level of responsibility and character, making him a true asset to Southern High School.

Karissa Manley

Karissa has made an impressive transition to our district as a 9th-grade student, joining after the school year had already begun. She has handled this change with grace and resilience, quickly getting involved in extracurricular activities, including playing softball, while also doing well in her classes. Karissa has built positive friendships and even gives back to the Racine Community by helping coach a youth softball team. She is kind, respectful, and determined, and she consistently brings a positive attitude and smile to everything she does.

Rece Johnson

Rece is a junior at Southern High School who consistently demonstrates responsibility and positive behavior toward others. He maintains a busy schedule with CCP classes and athletics while continuously earning strong grades. Rece is actively involved, puts forth strong effort in all he does, and is always willing to help and volunteer. He is a wonderful member of the Southern community and represents our school with pride.

Edie Templeton

Edie consistently sets a high standard as a Tornado through her dedication, integrity, and positive attitude. She comes to class prepared, works hard to fully understand her learning, and goes the extra mile to support others. Edie stands up for what is right, follows expectations, and leads by example both in the classroom and in athletics. Her character and commitment make her a positive role model and a valued member of our school community.

Jenni Roush

Jenni consistently demonstrates exceptional kindness, compassion, and dedication to others. She goes above and beyond to support both students and staff, always stepping in to help, advocate, and ensure others feel cared for and supported. Through her work with the gifted program, she not only meets the needs of students but also collaborates with teachers to help them best support those learners. Jenni’s selflessness, leadership, and commitment make her an invaluable member of our school family.
