Racine Southern FFA Members take Online Greenhand Exam CDE

On February 23rd, a large group of Racine Southern FFA members including Jessica Snoke, Adalynn Garner, Kylie Rizer, Jaydah Fogus, Audrionna Smith, Layla Nibert, Bentley Neal, Jovi Wolfe, Colten Grubb, Remington Neutzling, Weston Smith, John Turley, Avery Peterman, Gavyn Shockey, Christian Stobart, Breelynn Sayre, Cadence Jefferies, Libby Will, Joseph Rose, Lincoln Full, Leah Yost, Carlee Young, Logan Smith, Justyn Hupp, Hailey Young, Jacobo Hernandez, Austin Gaskill, Connor Lemley, Michael Cook, Gabriel Davis, Savannah Roush, Kardesion Amos, Jeremiah Laudermilt, Ethan Herald, Oliver Bender, Landon Jones, and Noah Appearson participated in the Ohio FFA Online Greenhand Exam CDE.

The Greenhand Exam is designed for first-year FFA members to assess their understanding of the organization, including its history, mission, programs, and leadership structure. According to Ohio FFA guidelines, the online exam must be completed under supervised conditions to ensure integrity, and students are expected to work independently. The exam consists of multiple-choice and true/false questions that cover a range of topics, such as FFA traditions, proper meeting procedures, and basic agricultural knowledge.

During the exam, Racine Southern members demonstrated their knowledge of FFA fundamentals and their readiness to actively participate in chapter activities. Successfully completing the Greenhand Exam is an important step for first-year members, as it recognizes their commitment to learning about the organization while building a foundation for future leadership and career opportunities in agriculture.

The participation of such a large and enthusiastic group highlights Racine Southern FFA’s dedication to preparing its members for success both within the organization and in the broader agricultural community. The top 3 students were Jessica Snoke 27th, Adalyn Garner 55th, and Kylie Rizer 78th out of 3,421 first year FFA members.
