Tomorrow , State Route 124 will be closed from the Racine side of 124/ Pine Grove Road to Racine.
If you bring your child to school, you WILL be able to get through in the morning.
You will NOT be able to get through after that. This will be for all day ( AM and PM) Thursday, too.
You will need to use Minersville Hill, Roy Jones Road , or Pine Grove to get to and from Racine Wednesday for pick up
and all day Thursday.

Brayden Otto was honored, along with valedictorians from southeast Ohio and West Virginia, at a luncheon at Marshall University for WSAZ Best of the Class.
WSAZ will begin airing the valedictorians on May 13th and all school’s announcements will be available on WSAZ.COM.

Southern NHS volunteered at the Chester Historical Society Dinner and Auction on Friday, April 19th. The students served the meal to all attendees and then helped with the auction that followed.
Congratulations to Gracie Hill and Brayden Otto being voted Southern High School’s 2024 Prom Queen and King. Thank you to Codi Thomas, all those that volunteered to help her decorate and undecorate, those that parked cars, chaperoned , collected ballots, announced, took pictures, or made a donation to make our Prom a success. Today, Brayden Otto was honored as Meigs County’s recipient of the Franklin B. Walter All Scholastic Award. He was honored at a luncheon in Columbus, along with the other honorees across the state of Ohio.
