Southern Elementary Behavior System

The Accountability Pyramid consists of 6 pieces: Responsibility, Self-Control, Selflessness, Work Ethic, Attitude, and Trust.

If a negative action occurs, the student will be asked to take down the corresponding pyramid piece. With corrective behavior, the student can earn the piece back and be able to participate in "5 minutes of fun" periodically throughout the day. However, if the student does not show positive behavior, they will not earn their piece back and will not be able to participate in fun time.

With the Accountability Pyramid, expected behaviors and correcting behavior errors is provided through; active supervision, incentives and reinforcements, and logical consequences and clear office referral procedures within the classroom and school.
