Charles Kloes- 2nd Grade

Charlee Kloes is an outstanding example of a STORM student at Southern Elementary. She consistently strives to do what is right and works to make a positive difference in the world around her. Charlee demonstrates strong self-control, takes responsibility for her learning, and perseveres even when challenges arise. She leads by example through her kindness, respect, and willingness to help others, always following directions and meeting expectations. Charlee’s positive attitude and caring nature make her a role model for her peers and a truly deserving recipient of this recognition.

Logan Reece- 6th Grade

Logan is a strong example of the STORM qualities at Southern Elementary. He comes to school on time, ready to learn, and consistently puts forth his best effort. Logan demonstrates self-control and responsibility by following expectations and staying focused on his work. He is kind and respectful to others, often helping and encouraging his classmates. Logan is also a caring and supportive big brother, making him a positive role model both at school and at home. Logan is truly deserving of recognition as our STORM Student of the Month.

Kayleigh Marshall- 9th Grade

Kayleigh is a wonderful example of what it means to be a positive and dependable member of our school community. She consistently shows respect and kindness to both her teachers and classmates, helping to create a supportive and welcoming environment. Kayleigh works hard in the classroom and takes pride in completing high-quality work. In addition, she can always be counted on to assist the office with bus notes each day, demonstrating her responsibility and reliability. Kayleigh’s honesty, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others make her a truly deserving recipient of this recognition.

Aden Casteel-12th Grade

Aden has truly made a positive impact in our school community. From the moment he stepped into an elementary classroom as a helper, he carried himself with a natural confidence and care that made it seem like he had been working with kids his whole life. He is always willing to lend a helping hand wherever it’s needed, including supporting students who may need extra patience and understanding. Aden is committed to building a strong future for himself, and his hard work both in and out of school reflects that dedication. We are proud to recognize Aden for his kindness, leadership, and determination.

Tim Prange

Mr. Prange is a dedicated and hardworking educator who makes a lasting impact on both students and the school community. He consistently inspires a love of learning, differentiates instruction to meet student needs, and builds meaningful relationships that support student success. Beyond the classroom, Mr. Prange devotes countless hours to coaching cross country and track, where he fosters confidence, resilience, and teamwork. Notably, he was the first coach at Southern Local to lead a cross country team to be a state qualifier. His passion, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to students make him an outstanding educator and a truly deserving recipient of this recognition.

Jonna Turley

Jonna consistently demonstrates a positive attitude and a deep respect for others, helping to create a supportive and welcoming environment within our school. She regularly goes above and beyond her job responsibilities and can always be counted on to step in and help when it is needed most. Her willingness to support others and her dedication to our school community make her a truly deserving (and repeated) recipient of Staff Member of the Month.
